Impact: Around 40% ShadowGPS devices experienced connectivity loss and stopped sending data to our servers.
What Happened:
A temporary network disruption affected communication between the devices and our backend servers. This caused tracking data and updates to pause during the affected period.
Resolution:
2025-10-09 20:55 UTC: Restoration in progress: a portion of sessions restored; some data sessions still impacted.
2025-10-10 06:00 UTC: Full restoration confirmed: affected devices reconnected and normal data flow resumed.
Status:
All affected devices have reconnected and normal operation has resumed. No user action was required; once connectivity returned devices resumed sending stored data automatically. Our team continues to monitor stability and is reviewing measures to reduce recurrence.
