Excessive Speed Alert in ShadowGPS

Love a bit of speed but want to know when you (or someone else) might be pushing it just a little too far? Say hello to the Excessive Speed Alert in ShadowGPS—a handy way to keep speed in check without constant nagging.

How It Works

  • Head to Alert Configuration.

  • Flip the toggle On for Excessive Speed.

  • Use the slider to set your personal speed limit—think of it as a cap for "I’m fine" vs. "Maybe slow down."

If the vehicle crosses this threshold during any trip, ShadowGPS won’t interrupt you mid-joyride. Instead, it takes notes and waits politely. At the end of your trip, you'll get a Trip Summary Notification highlighting if (and when) the speed limit was broken.

Why You’ll Like It

  • Set your ceiling: Whether it's 80 or 100, you choose when the alert kicks in.

  • Post-trip clarity: No beeps or buzzes while driving—just a clean recap at the end.

  • Accountability mode: Great for fleet tracking, teen drivers, or just staying honest with yourself.

With ShadowGPS, you’re always in control—even when your right foot forgets.
