Distance Covered Alert

Ever catch yourself wondering just how far that trip really was? With ShadowGPS, you don’t have to guess—we’ll do the distance math for you.

The Distance Covered alert is your mileage milestone buddy. Once you toggle it on, you can set a distance threshold (in miles or kilometers). When your vehicle crosses that distance in a single trip, you’ll receive a summary notification right after the trip ends.

It’s like your vehicle saying, “Hey, just so you know, I went the distance.”

Why Use It?

  • Stay on top of travel limits for fleet management or personal monitoring.

  • Know when longer trips happen—helpful for billing, deliveries, or teen drivers.

  • Customizable threshold, so whether it's 20 miles or 200 km, you're in charge.

A Few Notes:

  • This is a trip summary alert, meaning you’ll get it once the trip ends—no mid-trip pings.

  • Works with both ShadowAuto (OBD) and ShadowTrack (Non-OBD) devices.

  • The alert quietly shows up as part of your trip report—no drama, just data.

Set it once, drive as usual, and let ShadowGPS keep an eye on the odometer for you.
