If you're using our ShadowAuto (OBD) device, this alert keeps an eye on your tank so you don’t have to. Just toggle the feature on, set the fuel level threshold using the slider, and voilà—ShadowGPS will send you a notification whenever your fuel dips below that mark.
Whether you’re managing a fleet or just your own ride, this alert helps prevent “oh no” moments at the gas station—or worse, on the roadside.
How It Works:
Head to the Alert Configuration section under Notifications.
Select your OBD-connected vehicle.
Toggle Fuel Level Alert ON.
Use the slider to set your low fuel threshold—set it conservative or live on the edge, your call.
Once your fuel drops below that level, we’ll send you a heads-up.
Heads-Up:
This is an OBD-only alert, meaning it works only with ShadowAuto (OBD) devices.
Make sure your vehicle is sending accurate fuel data. (Some older models might not.)
