Curfew Alerts in ShadowGPS
Think of this as your vehicle’s version of “Do Not Disturb.” The Curfew Alert feature in ShadowGPS lets you control when your vehicle is allowed to move—and more importantly, when it shouldn’t.
Whether it’s keeping tabs on off-hour usage or enforcing driving rules, you can set a curfew that fits your schedule.
How to Set a Curfew Alert
Tap the plus (+) icon at the top right of the Curfew Alerts screen.
Give your alert a name. Keep it simple, or go with something dramatic—whatever helps you remember it.
Choose the days of the week you want the curfew to apply. Monday only? Monday through Friday? Weekends only? Your call.
By default, “All Day” is enabled. This means the alert will trigger any time the vehicle moves on the selected days.
Need More Specific Timing?
If you want to set a specific time window, turn off the “All Day” toggle. You’ll then be able to:
Select a start time and end time for your curfew.
Choose the time zone you want the schedule to follow.
This gives you precise control over when the alert should be active—for example, only between 10 PM and 6 AM on weekdays.
Why Use Curfew Alerts?
Prevent unauthorized after-hours vehicle use.
Track teen drivers or company vehicle activity during off-hours.
Ensure vehicles aren’t being used outside business schedules.
With ShadowGPS, your curfew rules aren’t just suggestions. They come with a notification attached.
