Clicked on a trip? You’re now in the driver’s seat—again.

In ShadowGPS, every Driving segment on your Trip Timeline opens up a goldmine of insights. Tap on a trip, and you’ll find yourself inside the Trip Details view, where everything about that journey is broken down clearly—from route visuals to driving behavior and event history.

Here’s what you’ll find:

Trip Start to Finish—Mapped Out

At the top, you’ll see your Trip Start and Trip End locations.

  • You can copy or share these addresses with a tap—super handy if you need to confirm a route or send someone your destination.

On the map, your route is plotted in full color, based on your Speed Band or Speed Limit settings—your choice. The color-coded segments help you spot how fast (or slow) things were going throughout the trip.

Event markers like speeding, braking, or geofence entries/exits are also plotted directly on the route. Tap any marker to view more details at that exact location.

Trip Score & Recenter Control

You’ll see your Trip Score front and center—a summary rating of how well the trip was driven. Want to zoom back in after exploring the map? Tap the Recenter icon to snap back to the trip route.

Dive into Stats & Events

You’ve got two tabs: Stats and Events.

Stats

This tab gives you the numbers that matter:

  • Drive: Total Distance, Travel Time, Idle Time

  • Speed: Average Speed, Moving Speed, Max Speed

  • Habits (OBD only): Count of Rapid Acceleration and Hard Braking events

Perfect for self-checks or fleet performance reviews.

Events

Think of this as the trip’s diary—every key moment, logged in order:

  • Speeding

  • Geofence entry/exit

  • Harsh braking or acceleration

  • And more...

Tap any event, and you’ll be taken to that point on the map so you can see exactly where it happened.

Why Use Trip Details?

Whether you’re double-checking a route, monitoring driver behavior, or just curious about how your vehicle performed, Trip Details gives you the full picture—without needing to be a data scientist.

Zoom in, tap around, analyze patterns.
